The Kingsman legacy continues with The King’s Man, an origin story that takes place prior to the events of Kingsman: The Secret Service and Kingsman: The Golden Circle. Ahead of its impending release later this year, a new special look at the film has been revealed.

Directed by Matthew Vaughn, The King’s Man is based on the comic book The Secret Service by Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons. As a collection of history’s worst tyrants and criminal masterminds gather to plot a war to wipe out millions, one man must race against time to stop them. The film will follow the origins of the very first independent intelligence agency. The story comes from Vaughn, and the screenplay is by Vaughn and Karl Gajdusek.

The King’s Man stars Ralph Fiennes, Gemma Arterton, Rhys Ifans, Matthew Goode, Tom Hollander, Harris Dickinson, Daniel Brühl, with Djimon Hounsou, and Charles Dance.

Check out the special look below.

The King’s Man will land in theaters on December 22.
