Fans of Good Omens, rejoice! Our favorite angel/demon duo will be back for more adventures. BBC Studios and Amazon Studios have confirmed that the show, adapted from Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett’s novel, has been renewed for a second season. The last time we saw Aziraphale and Crowley, they just saved the world from the Apocalypse. It is now time to learn what happened to them after that.

Neil Gaiman himself confirmed it earlier on Twitter:

David Tennant and Michael Sheen will respectively be back as the demon Crowley and the angel Aziraphale. Neil Gaiman will serve as executive producer and will co-showrun season 2 with Douglas Mackinnon. Executive producer Mcakinnon will also return to direct the show. John Finnemore will serve as co-writer of the second season.

Season 2 will be composed of six episodes and will be filmed later this year in Scotland. Since the first season covered the source material, the plot for season 2 is not yet known.

The first season of Good Omens is currently streaming worldwide on Amazon Prime. Stay tuned for more news about the show!
