Gaten Matarazzo is Returning to FanX 2021!

Gaten Matarazzo, one of the stars of Netflix’s science-fiction horror drama series, Stranger Things is returning to FanX this fall!

2021 will be Matarazzo’s second appearance at FanX. He attended for the first time in 2018 and was a fan favorite. In addition to Stranger Things, Matarazzo hosts the Netflix show Prank Encounters and has appeared in a number of Broadway plays, including Pricilla, Queen of the Desert, Les Miserables and Cinderella.

“Gaten was an instant hit when he came the first time in 2018 and since he’s consistently been one of our most requested guests from fans so we’re thrilled that he’ll be joining us again his year,” said Dan Farr, FanX Salt Lake Comic Convention Founder and Show Producer.

In addition to Matarazzo, FanX has announced of number of celebrity guests including William Zabka and Martin Cove (Karate Kid and Netflix’s Cobra Kai), voice actors Jess Harnell, Rob Paulsen, Tress MacNeille and Maurice LaMarche (Animaniacs), Jaleel White (Family Matters), Anjali Bhimani, Carolina Ravassa (Overwatch), Amanda Tapping (Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis and Stargate Universe), Christopher Eccleston (Doctor Who and Thor: The Dark World), Richard Speight Jr. (Supernatural and Band of Brothers), Misha Collins (Supernatural and Girl, Interrupted), Rider Strong, Will Friedle, and William Daniels (Boy Meets World) Adam Savage (MythBusters), Ashley Eckstein (Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels, Star Wars Forces of Destiny and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker), and so many more!

FanX takes place September 16-18, 2021, in Salt Lake City, UT. The event will feature the best in geek and pop culture, including movies, TV shows, cosplay, gaming, books, comic creators, artists, and vendors from fandoms such as Marvel, DC, Disney, Star Wars, 90’s Sitcoms, Cartoons, and many more. FanX 2021 will also feature a number of new attractions, including FanX Quest, Fan Workshops, Gamers Paradise, a new content creators workshop and an enhanced Cosplay Contest featuring a $5,000 cash prize.
