During The CW’s upfront presentations today, it was announced that Nancy Drew will move to Fridays at 9 p.m. ET for its upcoming third season. The network also announced the show will return in the fall rather than midseason, going back to its traditional schedule after being disrupted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Nancy Drew is currently airing its second season on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET.

The network also reaffirmed that potential spin-off Tom Swift is still in consideration, with no word yet on whether the show will have a pilot produced or move straight to series. The season finale of Nancy Drew will air on June 2 on The CW.
