Dave Bautista, Edward Norton, and Janelle Monáe Join ‘Knives Out 2’

A new mystery is afoot! The highly anticipated sequel to the 2019 hit Knives Out from Rian Johnson is stacking its cast.

Dave Bautista, Edward Norton, and Janelle Monáe have been cast in the sequel heading to Netflix after a $468 million dollar deal was made for the next two installments. Johnson will return to write and direct both sequels.

Daniel Craig is already set to reprise his role as Detective Benoit Blanc as he heads out to solve another mystery. Other details about the plot of Knives Out 2 are currently under wraps, including the roles of these three new cast members. Production is set to begin this summer in Greece.

The first installment of Knives Out was critically acclaimed, earning Johnson numerous award nominations including Best Original Screenplay at the 2020 Oscars. It starred an exceptional ensemble cast alongside the franchise character played by Craig including Jamie Lee Curtis, Ana de Armas (who would also go on to receive multiple award nominations for her role), Chris Evans, Toni Collette, Michael Shannon, Katherine Langford, Don Johnson, LaKeith Stanfield, and the late Christopher Plummer.

Along with another stellar ensemble, we hope there’s another iconic fashion item in the sequel. Stay tuned for more news as it develops.
