The original groundbreaking series first aired in August of 1991 and showed the world from a baby’s view. Rugrats had an incredible thirteen-season run with three theatrical releases, earning the show four Daytime Emmy Awards, six Kids’ Choice Awards, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Now, everyone’s favorite baby’s are back, delighting a brand-new generation of kids. Paramount+, the premiere streaming service from ViacomCBS, has announced the return of Rugrats in an all new series. From Nickelodeon Animation Studios, the series will follow the secret life of babies, but with bigger adventures from the creative minds of Tommy, Chuckie, Phil, Lil, Susie, and Angelica.
Starting March 27, the first episodes of Rugrats debut season will premiere on Paramount+ with more episodes to be announced for a later date.

In the one-hour season premiere episode titled “Second Time Around,” Tommy leads the gang on an adventure to help his best friend Chuckie after the skittish toddler’s attempt to be brave goes sideways.
The nostalgia continues as E.G. Daily (Tommy Pickles), Nancy Cartwright (Chuckie Finster), Cheryl Chase (Angelica Pickles), Cree Summer (Susie Carmichael), and Kath Soucie (Phil and Lil DeVille) all return to reprise their iconic roles. Joining them will be the new voices of Ashley Rae Spillers and Tommy Dewey (Tommy’s parents, Didi and Stu Pickles), Tony Hale (Chuckie’s father, Chas Finster), Natalie Morales (Phil and Lil’s mother, Betty DeVille), Anna Chlumsky and Timothy Simons (Angelica’s parents, Charlotte and Drew Pickles), Nicole Byer and Omar Miller (Susie’s parents, Lucy and Randy Carmichael), and Michael McKean (Grandpa Lou Pickles).
