Thomasin McKenzie To Lead Olivia Wilde’s ‘Perfect’

Thomasin McKenzie, known for her roles in Leave No Trace and Jojo Rabbit, has landed the lead role in the upcoming biopic Perfect. Deadline was first to report.

Perfect will chronicle the story of Olympic gymnast Kerri Strug (McKenzie), and her journey behind the historic vault that earned the American team its first gold team medal.

Olivia Wilde will direct the screenplay from Ronnie Sandahl. Nik Bower, Jeremy Baxter, Thomas Benski, and Moss Barclay will produce. Wilde, Sandahl, Deepak Nayar, and Marisa Clifford will executive produce.

There’s currently no further word on casting or a projected release date. Stay tuned for more info as it becomes available.
