Disney has released a sneak peek of one of the updated scenes that will be coming to the Jungle Cruise attractions at both the Disneyland Park in California and Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World Florida.

Jungle Cruise is a classic Disney attraction that takes guests on a tour through rivers around the world. Guests get to see the sites courtesy of the animatronics but the real star of the attraction is the quick wit and humour of the world-famous Jungle Cruise skippers who act as your tour guides.

Disney announced earlier this year that the Jungle Cruise attractions were going to be getting some new scenes. They will add to the backstory of the attraction centered around the character of Alberta Falls, the granddaughter of the proprietor of the Jungle Navigation Company Ltd. The additions are planned to enhance the humour of the skippers and will better “reflect the voices and perspectives of the world around us.”

The sneak peek of the scene shows that Alberta Falls has entrusted the Jungle Navigation Company Ltd.’s Lost and Found to Trader Sam, a character whose previous animatronic has now been removed. However, in typical Trader Sam fashion, he wants to make some quick money and so has turned the Lost and Found into the gift shop.

According to Disney, this scene will be coming to Walt Disney World in the near future. We can’t wait to check it out! Also make sure to check out the Jungle Cruise movie, based on the attraction, which will be released July 30, 2021.
