The all-new Captain America himself will be landing on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight. Joining Colbert for a chat this even is none other than The Falcon and The Winter Soldier‘s Anthony Mackie!
In last week’s finale of Marvel’s action-packed show The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Sam Wilson (Mackie) made his official debut as the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s next Captain America, donning a fancy new suit and wings courtesy of Wakanda. The six-episode series sees the return of Mackie as Sam, alongside Sebastian Stan’s Bucky Barnes, taking place not too long after the events of Avengers: Endgame. Alongside a global adventure full of high-stakes missions, new adversaries, and a handful of familiar faces, Sam spent much of the series grappling with what it truly means for a Black man to wield the shield and take on the mantle of Captain America.
