The First Look at ‘Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings’ Is Here!

Happy Birthday to the star of Marvel’s upcoming film Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings, Simu Liu! Marvel has given us a gift to celebrate the occasion: the first poster and teaser trailer for the upcoming film.

Fans got brief look at the Ten Rings organization throughout the Iron Man trilogy, including a fake Mandarin played by Ben Kingsley in Iron Man 3, but the real deal is coming as Shang-Chi has to face his history with the deadly group.

Simu Liu stars as the titular character, with Awkwafina as Katy, Tony Leung as Wenwu (the real Mandarin), Michelle Yeoh as Jiang Nan, along with Fala Chen, Meng’er Zhang, Florian Munteanu, and Ronny Chieng.

Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings will be Marvel’s first Asian-led film and it is written and directed Asian-American voices.

After many push backs due to the ongoing pandemic, let’s hope this new date sticks. Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings arrives in theaters September 3.
