Jordan Fisher Lands Role in ‘The Flash’ Season 7!

The Flash is currently in its seventh season, and before the season is over, the show will have hit 150 episodes! This milestone will land on season 7’s 17th episode. It was recently announced that the 150th episode will boast a surprise — Barry and Iris’ future son, Bart Allen, who will be played by Jordan Fisher! The character’s official description can be found below.

“Bart is the future son of Barry aka the Flash (Grant Gustin) and Iris (Candice Patton) and is said to be “the fastest teenager on the planet.” However, due to his penchant for “wildly impulsive behavior,” Barry and Iris will have their hands full trying to teach him patience — which will be a necessity if they want to succeed, not only as a family unit, but also in stopping the biggest threat to the Flash yet.”

The “fastest teenager alive” (like father, like son), a.k.a Impulse, is going to be shaking things up within the CWverse, as his lineage takes a slight departure from the comics, in which Bart is the child of Don Allen, one of the Tornado Twins (Barry and Iris’ children), and Meloni Thawne. Seeing this departure from the comics isn’t exactly surprising, as Eobard Thawne (Reverse-Flash) confirmed in seasons past that Nora’s appearance denoted a departure from the timeline in which that particular lineage would’ve been established.

Fisher has starred in quite a few productions, including To All The Boys: P.S. I Still Love You, Dear Evan Hansen, Hamilton, the Teen Beach Movie franchise, The Secret Life of The American Teenager, Work It, Grease Live!, and more!

We’re so excited to see Jordan Fisher make his debut in the CWverse! You can catch The Flash at 8/7 p.m. CT on The CW on Tuesday nights.
