‘Lucifer’ Season 5B Release Date Announced

Fans have been eagerly awaiting the return of Netflix’s Lucifer, since the first half of Season 5 aired over the summer. Today, Netflix announced Season 5B would return on May 28, 2021!

Lucifer originally aired on FOX, before being canceled and picked up by Netflix where it has continued to thrive. Lucifer is currently wrapping up filming their sixth (and yes, final, final season) which will air presumably in 2022.

Lucifer stars Tom Ellis, Lauren German, Kevin Alejandro, Lesley-Ann Brandt, D.B. Woodside, Rachael Harris and Aimee Garcia. Season 5B will also see the addition of Rob Benedict (Supernatural) and the return of Richard Speight, Jr. as a director for an episode.
