Eme Ikwuakor & Scott Haze Join Netflix’s ‘The Gray Man’ With Ryan Gosling & Chris Evans
The Russo Brothers written/directed Netflix action-thriller has added two more names to its already stacked cast, Eme Ikwuakor (On My Block) and Scott Haze (Minari). The news was first reported by Deadline.
The film is based on the first installment of the 10-book The Gray Man series written by Mark Greaney, and the Russos and their production company, AGBO, hope to make this a running series of films for the streaming titan. It will star Ryan Gosling in the titular Gray Man role as former CIA operative Court Gentry.
Chris Evans will star as the antagonist Lloyd Hansen in the first film, a former cohort of Gentry’s at the CIA, as he hunts him across the globe. The film also stars Ana de Armas, Jessica Henwick, Wagner Moura, Dhanush, Billy Bob Thornton, Alfre Woodard, Regé-Jean Page, and Julia Butters.
The Gray Man is currently filming. No release date has been set.
