On April 7, Netflix will release the Dolly Parton: A MusiCares Tribute concert. The event is typically industry-only, but fans will get a first look into the extravaganza that was filmed back in 2019. Parton was the first ever country music artist to receive the honor of MusiCares Person of the Year.
The concert features performances by some of the music industry’s hottest talent and legends including Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Leon Bridges, Willie Nelson, Shawn Mendes, Chris Stapleton, Yolanda Adams, and Little Big Town who were also the hosts of the evening.
The event helped raise over six million dollars for MusiCares, an organization from the Recording Academy that helps provide assistance to musicians and their families.
