Another casting announcement has been made for the upcoming spin-off of the hit Amazon Prime Video series The Boys! Joining the cast of the yet-untitled show are Shane Paul McGhie (Deputy), Aimee Carrero (Elena of Avalor), and Maddie Phillips (Teenage Bounty Hunters). They join the previously announced Lizze Broadway and Jaz Sinclair, who will play two young superheroes named Emma and Marie, respectively.

The Boys is based on the comic book series by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, set in a world where superheroes exist. Corruption runs deep amongst the Supes, especially The Seven — a group of celebrity superheroes working under the villainous corporation Vought. The Boys, meanwhile, are a group of vigilantes that risk their lives in their efforts to take them down once and for all. The spin-off series will focus on a Supe college that’s run by Vought. It can best be described as an irreverent, R-rated series that explores the lives of hormonal, competitive Supes as they put their physical, sexual, and moral boundaries to the test, competing for the best contracts in the best cities.

The Boys writer and executive producer Craig Rosenberg will serve as showrunner and executive producer for the spin-off series. Other executive producers are set to include The Boys showrunner Eric Kripke, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, Pavun Shetty, Garth Ennis, and Darick Robertson.

Season 3 of The Boys recently began filming in Canada.
