Kathryn Hahn, Keanu Reeves, and More To Take Part in ‘Spotlight on Plays’
The Spotlight on Plays series is back for the spring season with a slate of new actors taking part in the initiative — including Kathryn Hahn and Keanu Reeves. Spotlight on Plays was originally announced last year, where actors perform readings of works all done remotely (they are pre-recorded). Other actors announced for the series include Alia Shawkat, Debbie Allen, Audra McDonald, Kevin Kline, Phylicia Rashad, Heidi Schreck, Heather Alicia Simms, Alicia Stith, and more.
The series will begin on March 25 with The Thanksgiving Play by Larissa FastHorse, directed by Leigh Silverman. On April 9, Pearl Cleage’s Angry, Raucous, and Shamelessly Gorgeous will be read, directed by Camille A. Brown. Check out the list of the other works set to be performed below, with dates currently to be announced.
Watch On The Rhine by Lillian Hellman, directed by Sarna Lapine
Ohio State Murders by Adrienne Kennedy, directed by Kenny Leon
Dear Elizabeth by Sarah Ruhl, directed by Kate Whoriskey
The Baltimore Waltz by Paula Vogel, directed by Lileana Blain-Cruz

Spotlight on Plays will live stream exclusively on Stellar beginning March 25 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. Ticket information can be found on Broadway’s Best Shows website. Proceeds from each reading will benefit The Actors Fund.
