Although Universal Studios Hollywood has yet to reopen, fans of the park will get the opportunity to visit again soon. Beginning March 12, guests can experience outdoor dining and shopping experiences in the special ticketed event, “Taste of Universal.”

Unfortunately, rides, shows, and attractions will not be open but select lands including The Simpsons “Springfield U.S.A.,” “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter,” “Hollywood & Dine,” and the all-new “Minion Cafe” will be available to visit. These lands will offer nearly 70 culinary options, with vegetarian and vegan offerings, including 30 food items that are brand new to this event. Tickets include your choice of 5 culinary items (3 for children) with additional food available for purchase.

Shopping experiences will also be available, including first-look at the new “The Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash” attraction store, The Pets Store, and The Animation Store. Universal Citywalk is also open for all your shopping needs. Physically distanced photo opportunities will be available with fan favorite characters.

The event will have health and safety protocols in place including physical distancing, required face masks, and temperature checks. For more information on the increased health and safety procedures, check out the Universal Studios Hollywood website.

“Taste of Universal” will take place every weekend, Friday-Sunday, from noon – 7 p.m. Tickets begin at $44 plus tax for adults and $25 plus tax for children (ages 3-9).
