Bebe Wood To Narrate Audiobook for ‘Kate in Waiting’ by Becky Albertalli
In less than two months on April 20, Becky Albertalli will release her next YA novel, titled Kate in Waiting. The book will be available as a physical hardcover and as an audiobook. Via Instagram, Albertalli announced that performing the audiobook is Bebe Wood!
Wood is recently known for playing Lake Meriwether in the Hulu original series Love, Victor. The show takes place in the same universe as the 2018 film Love, Simon, based on the novel Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda written by Albertalli. So it’s fitting that someone affiliated with the Simonverse will be narrating an Albertalli book.
Kate in Waiting follows best friends Kate Garfield and Anderson Walker, who do practically everything together — including having crushes on the same people. When the pair’s long-distance crush, Matt Olsson, shows up at their school, Kate and Andy realize that crushing from afar isn’t nearly as fun when real feelings are involved.
