Walt Disney World Parks’ Icons To Get “EARidescent” Makeover for 50th Anniversary

Share

Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom Park opened 50 years ago on October 1, 1971! Beginning October 1, there is going to be “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” across the Walt Disney World Resort for the anniversary.

To celebrate the occasion, the parks will be decorated in “EARidescence.” Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom is getting a special makeover. This is in addition to its “royal makeover” that happened last year. The castle will receive beautiful gold bunting and a 50th anniversary crest.

Additionally, the other three park icons: the Tree of Life, the Hollywood Tower Hotel, and Spaceship Earth, will also become “Beacons of Magic” at night. These stunning icons are sure to light up the night.

Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse will also get stunning “EARidescent” costumes with gold accents to celebrate the occasion.
