Good news, Criminal Minds fans — on the anniversary of the show ending one year ago today, it’s being reported that a revival is in the works at Paramount Plus! Details at this time are slim, as it’s still in its early stages of development, but Variety is reporting that showrunner Erica Messer is likely to return for the revival. There is also no word on who in the cast will return if they do decide to bring them on.

Criminal Minds ran for 15 seasons accumulating over 300 episodes in its tenure on CBS. The show followed a group of FBI Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) profilers that analyze the most dangerous serial killers in an attempt to put a stop to them committing future crimes.

The show starred Thomas Gibson, Matthew Gray Gubler, Aisha Tyler, A.J. Cook, Joe Mantegna, Daniel Henney, Shemar Moore, Paget Brewster, Kirsten Vangsness, and Adam Rodriguez, among others.

The first 12 seasons are available to stream on Netflix, with 13-15 available on Hulu.

Stay tuned for more information.
