Timothée Chalamet Plays Edgar Scissorhands in Cadillac Super Bowl Ad

More than three decades after the release of Edward Scissorhands, a brand new Super Bowl ad has been released! Although it may not exactly be a reboot, Edward’s legacy lives on in the new Cadillac commercial with Timothée Chalamet as Edgar and Winona Ryder reprising her iconic role as Kim.

The commercial follows a day in Edgar’s life, from creating intricate structures out of sandwiches and salads to deflating a football he tried to catch and getting stuck in a chainlink fence — Edgar just can’t seem to find his place in the world. That is until Kim sees him using VR and she gets the idea to surprise him with a Cadillac LYRIQ that offers a hands-free cruise control option.
