Scott Michael Foster Cast in Season 3 of Netflix’s ‘You’

Deadline is reporting that Scott Michael Foster (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend) has been cast in the upcoming third season of Netflix’s hit series You. Foster will take on the role of Ryan, a local TV reporter. Ryan is described as

“A well-liked single dad who has overcome a history of addiction, Ryan has secrets, including a controlling, calculating demeanor that he reserves for those closest to him and anyone who gets in his way.”

Foster joins a well-stacked cast for the new season, including newcomers Tati Gabrielle as Joe and Love’s new neighbor Marienne, Dylan Arnold as Theo, and Michaela McManus as Natalie. Love’s mother, Dottie, was also promoted to a season regular.

The series, based on Caroline Kepnes’ best-selling books (YouHidden Bodies), follows Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) — a dangerously charming yet obsessive man who goes to great lengths to insert himself into the lives of various women. In the first season, it was Guinevere Beck. After ending in a tragedy, Joe moves to Los Angeles and quickly turns his attention towards Love (Victoria Pedretti) and inevitably falls for her.
