We’re just one month out from the release of Judas and the Black Messiah, a based on true life story about justice, loyalty, and betrayal. In anticipation of the release, Warner Bros. Pictures has released a new trailer for the film.
Judas and the Black Messiah tells the story of Fred Hampton (Daniel Kaluuya), the chairman of the Illinois Black Panther Party. It will follow him as he leads the Black Panthers and deals with an eventual betrayal from within the group. The film stars Kaluuya, LaKeith Stanfield, Jesse Plemons, Ashton Sanders, Dominique Fishback, and Martin Sheen, among others. It was written by Shaka King and Will Berson and directed by King.
The thrilling new trailer boasts a powerhouse cast, many of whom already have the chance to shine in just two and a half minutes. The trailer also gives a deeper look into the betrayal at the heart of the story.
