9-1-1: Lone Star‘s own Rob Lowe appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Friday night, and after talking about the series — as well as his podcast, life in quarantine, and more — the Golden Globe winner shared a new clip from the second season of FOX’s first responder drama!
The clip is the first sneak peek that has been released for the new season and features Lowe’s Captain Owen Strand, as well as Gina Torres’ Paramedic Captain Tommy Vega, in the middle of saving someone on a satellite tower while the rest of the 126 desperately wait on the ground. While checking out the victim, Tommy realizes it’s not a puncture wound, and it’s not from any bullet she’s seen. In the background, someone sets their sights on them and fires a bolt right in their direction, nearly hitting Owen. He tells the team that they’re taking fire and that’s where the sneak peek ends.
Not surprisingly, it looks like season 2 of 9-1-1: Lone Star will have an intense start. Not only seeing Owen and Tommy together working as a team, but seeing how Tommy fits into the 126 and getting more of her story are some of the many things fans will be looking forward to in the second season.
Season 2 of 9-1-1: Lone Star premieres on Monday, January 18 at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT on FOX, following the season 4 premiere of 9-1-1!
