Mike Shinoda Offering to Produce Songs From Fans Live on Twitch!

Share:

With the end of 2020 and the start of a new year, Mike Shinoda (Linkin Park/Fort Minor) wants to try something a little different on his Twitch channel. After dozens of live streams over the past year giving fans the opportunity to watch him create new tracks, Mike is now offering to take fan submissions of their own original songs and produce them live on Twitch!

There are a few conditions for Mike to look at a fan/artist’s track:

  • The track must be the artist’s own original work
  • The artist can contribute vocals and one instrument (i.e., there must be a basic framework for him to work with, but the track must still be “unproduced”)
  • Mike will not do vocals over the track

This is not a formal contest! If you want Mike to take a look at your track, post it (or a link to it) on Twitter or Instagram using #ShinodaProduceMe and make sure to participate in Mike’s chat on Twitch when he live streams (he currently streams Monday through Friday around 1 p.m. PST).

While Mike will have the final say in which tracks he produces, his Twitch community will serve as his A&R division (affectionately nicknamed his “#A&Rmy”), scouting for interesting songs and artists on social media using the hashtag above and promoting them in the Twitch chat for Mike to see! Make sure to post your track and make some noise in Mike’s Twitch chat during his live streams for your chance!
