Season 3 of NBC’s popular drama Manifest is right around the corner, and although there’s currently no set premiere date, that didn’t stop TVLine from releasing an exclusive first look at the newest season! In the new photos, it seems like newly weds Michaela and Zeke are finally getting their lives back to normal after a traumatic start to their marriage at the end of last season.

Showrunner, Jeff Rake told TVLine that three months after beating his Death Date, Zeke is “finally able to look forward to the future and a life with his bride Michaela.” However, Rake says that Zeke’s survival has raised even more questions about the fate of the passengers and the Callings.

Meanwhile, TVLine also confirmed that when the season opens, Ben and Saanvi do a deep dive on the Flight 828 tailfin, which was discovered right at the end of the season 2 finale by a fishing boat, a long-lost character will make a “shocking” reappearance (could it possibly be the pilot who went missing in season 1 during a test fly?), and Jared will have a complicated new romantic relationship.

Joining the recently announced Mahira Kakkar and Ali Lopez-Sohaili in recurring roles are Holly Taylor from The Americans, who will play Flight 828 passenger Angelica, whose “emergence will play an integral part in the lives of the Stone family” and had so far flown under Ben’s radar; Euphoria‘s Will Petz will recur as Levi, a teaching assistant who works at the same university Ben does whose expertise in archeology brings him in contact with Olive; and lastly, Warner Miller from Marvel’s Luke Cage will play Grace’s estranged stepbrother, Tarik, who reluctantly agrees to help the Stones when they have nowhere else to turn.

The first two seasons of Manifest are currently streaming on Hulu and season 3 is expected to premiere sometime early next year on NBC.
