You might wanna buckle up, baby.

The Star Wars news just keeps on coming today, thanks to the Disney Investor Day 2020 presentation!

It has been revealed that, joining the already epic slate of upcoming content is a long-awaited series centering on the beloved Star Wars character Lando Calrissian.

Lando will be created by Dear White People‘s Justin Simien. It’s currently unclear as to what point in the Star Wars timeline this series will be set, and whether or not the original Lando himself Billy Dee Williams or Solo‘s Donald Glover will be appearing.

Stay tuned for more news on Lando.

Lindsey joined the Nerds and Beyond team in 2018. If she's not writing or out and about with her camera, she's probably watching anime, nerding out over Star Wars, reading manga, and definitely forgetting to water her plants. And waiting for the Genshin loading screen to pop up. Contact: lindsey@nerdsandbeyond.com
