Rogue One: A Star Wars Story star Diego Luna joined Jimmy Kimmel on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to talk about the new highly anticipated Cassian Andor Disney+ series.
During the live interview, Luna confirms that the Star Wars show centered around his Rogue One character is filming right now in London. Luna says the new series is “basically everything you have to know to understand Rogue One” by learning more about Cassian and who he is. He also touched on growing up celebrating Christmas, his part in the recreation of the classic film The Princess Bride, and his new movie Wander Darkly, which comes out in theaters and on-demand on December 11.
It’s nice to go into a story you already know the ending. You can take care of the little nuances, the layers. I think it’s fun to do something that’s not just about getting to the end.
The untitled Cassian Andor series is expected to be released on Disney+ sometime next year.
