In celebration of Selena: The Series on Netflix, Funko Pop! released its first ever Selena Quintanilla figures.

The Pop!s are based after two of the late Tejano singer’s iconic looks. The jumpsuit is from her last performance at the Houston Rodeo in 1995, and the white dress is what she wore to The Grammys in 1994. There is a Diamond Collection version of the purple jumpsuit which is a Hot Topic exclusive. The Grammy white dress Funko Pop! is a funko.com exclusive.

Selena rose to fame at a young age and quickly became the voice of Tejano music. She became the first female Tejano artist to win Best Mexican/American Album at the 1994 Grammy Awards. Tragically in 1995, at just 23 years old, she was shot and killed by the president of her fan club. Some of her biggest hits were “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom,” “Como la Flor,” and “Dreaming of You.”

This comes as no surprise due to the Queen of Cumbia’s passionate fanbase, but the pre-orders for the normal purple jumpsuit Funko figure is already sold out on Amazon. However, you can pre-order the Diamond Collection version here. Most Funko Pop! figures retail for $10.99. You can stream Selena: The Series now on Netflix.
