Netflix Releases New Trailer for ‘The Prom’
It’s time to break out the sparkly heels and the poofy dresses. Netflix has released a new trailer for The Prom, which begins streaming on December 11.

The Prom is based on the hit Broadway musical of the same name. It tells the story of Emma Nolan (Jo Ellen Pellman), who fights to be able to go to the prom with her girlfriend Alyssa Greene (Ariana DeBose), but is unfortunately shut down by the PTA, headed by Alyssa’s mother. Several Broadway stars travel to the small town in Indiana in order to help Emma and Alyssa have their dream prom night.
The movie also stars Meryl Streep (The Devil Wears Prada), Kerry Washington (Scandal), James Corden (Into the Woods), Keegan-Michael Key (Key and Peele), Andrew Rannells (The Book of Mormon), and Nicole Kidman (Big Little Lies).
The Prom will be also be released in select theatres on December 11. You can watch the trailer below.
