Disney+ Releases First Look Trailer For ‘On Pointe’

Disney+ has officially released the first look trailer for the streaming service’s new documentary series On Pointe.

Featuring exclusive access to one of the top youth ballet institutions in the world, On Pointe showcases a season in New York City’s renowned School of American Ballet (SAB). The docuseries follows the lives of students ranging from ages 8 to 18 trying to perfect their craft while pursuing their dreams to become ballet dancers. The series will also follow older students from all over the United States as they train for professional careers while the younger students rehearse and perform in New York City Ballet’s holiday classic George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker on stage at Lincoln Center.

The six-part docuseries was produced by Imagine Documentaries and DCTV with Brian Grazer, Ron Howard, Sara Bernstein, Justin Wilkes and directed and produced by Larissa Bills. On Pointe premieres Friday, December 18 exclusively on Disney+. Be sure to check out the first look trailer below.
