Season 4 of FOX’s first responder series, 9-1-1, is just weeks away, and according to a new teaser that was just released, it’s going to be the show’s biggest season ever. In the new teaser that was shared on the official 9-1-1 Twitter, the mudslide that will be hitting Los Angeles isn’t a small one, as a dam has broken. Gas lines, unstable structures, and mud are just a few of the outcomes. Just like with a tsunami hitting the Santa Monica Pier last season, a mudslide will be destroying the iconic Hollywood sign.
Hope for the best, prepare for the worst. 🚨

Hope for the best and push through the pain are just some of the motivators this season. There is no telling what damage the mudslide will do but every season it seems like 9-1-1 goes bigger than the previous. The first promo for the season, released just a couple of weeks ago, showed a preview of just how bad the mudslide could be and the aftermath of it.
This upcoming season will also include the first crossover with spin-off series, 9-1-1: Lone Star, with the first pictures being released earlier this week. Lone Star‘s Ronen Rubinstein also shared on Twitter that the official title of the crossover will be “Hold the Line” while Rob Lowe confirmed on Instagram that the big call to bring the 118 and 126 together will be a massive wildfire.
See how the 118 battles the mudslide on Monday, January 18 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT in the season 4 premiere, followed by the season 2 premiere of 9-1-1: Lone Star on FOX! Catch up on all 3 seasons of 9-1-1 on Hulu now.
