“It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.” Well, at least it is at Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Christmas. From November 7 to January 3, 2021, guests can enjoy picturesque scenes while creating new memories and new traditions. It will be breathtaking as you watch the firework shows and take in the over five million lights bringing the gift of hope as you watch with your family. Take it from Dolly Parton:

“Christmas is so precious because of the time we take to gather with friends and family to share the light of love and hope with each other. It’s so good to be able to laugh about old memories and traditions, and even start a few new ones.”

The lights will welcome guests as they enter the winter wonderland filled with Christmas trees, including new area-based themes and lighting throughout the park. Don’t forget to catch the new firework show called Merry & Bright! Accompanied with familiar holiday songs. The return of a 30-year tradition, Christmas in the Smokies, on the DP Celebrity Theater. At the DreamSong Theater, there’s a new show called Heart of the Holidays, which will feature members of Parton’s family and some music from her new album A Holly Dolly Christmas, and returning to the Pines Theater will be Christmas with the Kingdom Heirs. That is not to mention Glacier Ridge, presented by Goo Goo Cluster, in multiple areas bringing an arctic experience. There is a tree show at Glacier Ridge with a 50-foot-tall animated sparkling tree in the Wonderful Christmas! Show. All of that before you even go inside! Once inside, the Wildwood Tree will tell an inspirational Christmas story in the evenings. Other entertainment includes O’ Holy Night, Appalachian Christmas with the Smoky Mountain String Band, Holiday Wild RootsThe Mistletones, and the Candlelight Carolers.

They haven’t forgotten the guy in the red suit either. Santa will be visiting Dollywood, and guests can see him through the windows in his very own cabin as he checks his list. You can even get a socially distant photo while you’re there, too.

As for the food, once you see this list, stomachs will growl, and mouths will be watering. The team of chefs has made a beautiful full list of various foods. At the Front Porch Café, there will be beef tenderloin medallions with a cabernet demi reduction, seared trout with sweet Cajun glaze, or a glazed ham steak with pineapple chutney. There will be an all-you-can-eat menu and buffet at the Blue Ribbon Buffet with roasted pork loin, herb garlic roasted chicken, carved prime rib, and spiral ham served alongside roasted sweet potato wedges, herb potato puree, baked macaroni and cheese, and more. Then at the Market Square, there are three-cheese panini, a shaved ribeye panini, a panini with heirloom tomato and fresh mozzarella sandwiches, and tomato bisque, beef barley soup, or the soup of the day. Don’t worry, there is still dessert at the Spotlight Bakery. Attendees will find cookies, cupcakes, gingerbread, hot chocolate, and can take home cookie or gingerbread house kits.

If you are looking for a gift to give someone, why not get them a Dollywood season pass. If purchased now, they will get access to this year’s Christmas festivities and admission to the 2021 season. You can buy the passes online now!
