Blue Ivy Carter Narrating the Audiobook of ‘Hair Love’ by Matthew A. Cherry

Blue Ivy Carter is continuing to make her mark. Her newest endeavor: narrating the New York Times bestselling picture book Hair Love by Matthew A. Cherry. Cherry announced the news via his Twitter, sharing a link to purchase the audiobook, as well as a clip of Blue Ivy’s narration.

Hair Love follows the story of a Black father, Stephen, who will do whatever it takes to style his daughter Zuri’s hair when his wife isn’t available. The story chronicles his journey as learns to make Zuri’s beautiful curls flourish. It brings a heartwarming story about a father and daughter, as well as a celebration of loving your natural hair. Cherry earned an Academy Award for the Hair Love short film, which you can watch here.
