Fans of one of The CW’s newer shows, All American, have been hungry for news on season 3 since the cliffhanger that was the season 2 finale. As originally reported by Deadline, Mike Merrill has been cast in a recurring role for season 3!

Merrill will be playing “Christian Mosley, a young, hungry talent director who is J.P Keating’s protege”. Layla’s father has added enough drama into the mix by himself; I think it’s safe to say that Christian might be stirring things up as well.

Merrill has had success on a slew of other shows, including American Soul, The Haves and the Have Nots, and The Bobby Brown Story. We can’t wait to see what great things Merril will bring to the teen sports drama.

The third season of All American will premiere on January 18. Stay tuned for more updates.
