There is a new threat heading to the third season of DC’s Titans. Jason Todd is bringing the Red Hood to the series.

HBO Max has released the first look at the concept art for Red Hood’s suit designed by costume designer Laure Jean Shannon with the concept art by Greg Hopwood. They kept the look close to the comic book and cartoon version of the suit with the trademark guns, and gave it a modern spin with the hoodie and leather coat. The touch on the suit with the red that resembles his past as Robin is excellent.

Jason Todd is played by Curran Walters, who previous to this was Robin. This is the next transformation of Jason Todd and part of the Robin lineage and story. The Titans version of the Red Hood will have a different origin story, but is still tragic and tormented, especially with how they left the end of season 2. For one, I am excited and curious to see what the anti-hero will bring to the show.

Titans stars Brenton Thwaites as Dick Grayson, Anna Diop as Kory Anders, Teagan Croft as Rachel Roth, Ryan Potter as Garfield Logan, Curran Walters as Jason Todd, Conor Leslie as Donna Troy, Minka Kelly as Dawn Granger, Alan Ritchson as Hank Hall, Joshua Orpin as Superboy, Chelsea Zhang as Rose Wilson, Chella Man as Jericho, Drew Van Acker as Aqualad, Esai Morales as Deathstroke, and Iain Glen as Bruce Wayne.

Red Hood is not the only one fans will meet when the team arrives in Gotham. Also being introduced in season 3 are Barbara Gordon and Scarecrow. Starting November 1, you can watch season 1 and 2 of DC’s Titans on HBO Max, with season 3 coming in 2021.
