‘9-1-1: Lone Star’ Season 2, Episode 1 Title Revealed!
FOX’s 9-1-1 spin-off, 9-1-1: Lone Star, returned to filming earlier this week to start its second season. One of the newest cast members, Gina Torres, who will be playing Paramedic Captain Tommy Vega, shared the cover of the script for the first episode of season 2, including the title, which is, appropriately, “Back In The Saddle.”
9-1-1: Lone Star premiered last January on FOX and quickly became the #1 new drama. The series follows sophisticated Firefighter Captain Owen Strand (Rob Lowe) and his son, firefighter T.K. (Ronen Rubinstein). They relocate to Austin, Texas, from New York to help rebuild a station after facing a tragedy. Lowe stars opposite Liv Tyler, who played Paramedic Captain Michelle Blake. Due to uncertainties with COVID and traveling, Tyler exited the series ahead of season 2.
The series also stars Jim Parrack, Brian Michael Smith, Natacha Karam, Julian Works, Sierra McClain, and joining for the second season as T.K.’s mom and Owen’s ex-wife, Lisa Edelstein. 9-1-1: Lone Star is created by Ryan Murphy, who created predecessor 9-1-1, Glee, American Horror Story, Scream Queens, Ratched, and more.
9-1-1: Lone Star season 2 is expected to premiere sometime in January 2021 on FOX with the first episode “Back In The Saddle.” Season 1 is streaming now on Hulu and the FOX NOW app.
