Author Julie Murphy is staying busy, and she’s returning to the Dumplin’ universe with her upcoming YA book Pumpkin. The bestselling author recently took to Twitter to reveal the cover of Pumpkin. The cover is reminiscent of Murphy’s covers for Dumplin’ and Puddin‘, featuring her book’s protagonist in a minimalist manner but also in a way that provides a glimpse into the character. The cover is designed by Jenna Stempel-Lobell with art by Josh McKenna. Check out the cover below!
Though there is no official summary, Murphy has described the book as one about “becoming the person you’ve been waiting to be” and finding your community. Read her full statement here.
