Mindy Kaling, Lucy Boynton, and Sir Ben Kingsley Added to Heist Film ‘Lockdown’

Upcoming heist thriller/rom-com Lockdown has added three new cast members to its lineup, as reported by Deadline. Joining the film are Mindy Kaling (The Mindy Project), Lucy Boynton (Bohemian Rhapsody), and Sir Ben Kingsley (Iron Man 3). The trio adds to an already excellent cast that includes Anne Hathaway, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Stephen Merchant, Ben Stiller, Mark Gatiss, Dulé Hill, and Jazmyn Simon.

According to IMDb, Lockdown will follow a couple as they attempt to pull off a high-stakes, high-risk jewelry heist at a department store. The movie is written by Steven Knight (Peaky Blinders) and directed by Doug Liman (The Bourne IdentityEdge of Tomorrow).

There’s currently no word on which roles the cast will take. A release date is still yet to be determined. Stay tuned for more updates.
