On October 8, during BBC AMERICA’s virtual panel at New York Comic-Con, Doctor Who stars Jodie Whittaker (The Doctor), Mandip Gill (Yaz), and Bradley Walsh (Graham) revealed new pictures from the TV show holiday special Revolution of the Daleks.

In the last episode of season twelve, The Doctor was incarcerated in a high-security alien prison after leaving her friends on Earth. The first picture revealed shows the life of The Doctor’s companions Yaz, Ryan, and Graham in Sheffield, not knowing what happened to their friends. The second picture shows the Time Lady in her prison.

In the upcoming special, The Doctor’s biggest enemies, The Daleks, are back. You can read the synopsis for Revolution of The Daleks below:

The Doctor is locked away in a high-security alien prison. Isolated, alone, with no hope of escape. Far away, on Earth, her best friends, Yaz, Ryan and Graham have to pick up their lives without her. But it’s not easy. Old habits die hard. Especially when they discover a disturbing plan forming. A plan which involves a Dalek. How can you fight a Dalek, without the Doctor?

Revolution of The Daleks will air during the holiday season. The new episode will premiere on BBC AMERICA, and the past seasons are available on HBO Max. You can watch the full panel here
