Mckenna Grace Joins Hulu’s ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ for Season 4

The Handmaid’s Tale has resumed production following a pandemic shutdown, and with it comes a new cast member — Mckenna Grace (The Haunting of Hill House, Gifted).

As announced by Deadline, Grace will play the teenage wife of a much older commander, Mrs. Keyes, who is as confident as she is unhinged. She “rules her farm and household with confidence” yet “has a rebellious and subversive streak” per the Deadline reporting. Whether that rebellious streak works in favor of Elisabeth Moss’ June Osborne’s mission to destroy the Republic of Gilead will be interesting to watch unfold.

The Handmaid’s Tale is in contention for some Emmy wins this weekend, including Outstanding Drama series. Since its debut in 2017 the series has been a benchmark for Hulu, garnering multiple award nominations throughout the years. You can watch seasons 1-3 on Hulu now, with season 4 coming sometimes in 2021.
