After the delay of Marvel’s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the future of WandaVision was unknown. Rumors flew that filming was complete, so the show was on track, but then came the news that filming was resuming in the summer months. However, in a recent preview for new content coming to the streaming service through the end of 2020, WandaVision was listed as one we can expect to see before the year is done — likely in its original December slot.
This is the way… to get pumped for the coming months. Start streaming favorites like Hidden Figures, X2, and Big, plus Originals like The Right Stuff from @NatGeo, Clouds, @MarvelStudios’ WandaVision, and a new season of The Mandalorian. Coming soon on #DisneyPlus. pic.twitter.com/PrS1LovFq4

This would make WandaVision the first of the Marvel series releasing to Disney+. Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan’s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is currently filming, but a new release date has not been revealed after the pandemic halted its August debut. The future of Loki, which was set for spring 2021, is unknown but potentially still on track (as Tom Hiddleston has recently been seen in Chadwick Boseman – A Tribute for a King sporting Loki’s signature black hair).

WandaVision stars Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch and Paul Bettany as Vision, along with Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo, Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, and Kathryn Hahn in an unknown role. Hopefully, a trailer is released soon, but until then, read up on our breakdown of the only sneak peek so far, the SuperBowl spot from earlier this year!
