Share

Promoting their new film Bill & Ted Face the Music overseas, Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves virtually sat down on BBC’s The One Show to chat with Alex Jones and Ronan Keating to talk all about the newest installment to the Bill and Ted franchise.

Jones asked the duo if they believed Excellent Adventure would be as successful as it was at the time, Winter tells the story about how the film had sat on the shelves, believing that the movie would never see the light of day.

Reeves discusses the return of The Matrix for The Matrix 4, saying, “we’re out here trying to make some magic” and talks about Neo’s fate at the end of The Matrix Revolutions.

Jones tells Winter and Reeves she had a Bill and Ted calendar growing up and asks if they were nervous to step back into the shoes of both Bill and Ted. Reeves says he loves the energy between the characters and their outlook on life, with their mantra of “be excellent to each other and party on dudes.”

Winter talks about the fate of the film industry due to the pandemic and how he believes it doesn’t spell the end for cinema, and that we will all come out of the other side once it is safe to again.
