SeaWorld Orlando Announces the 2020 Return of Halloween Spooktacular

SeaWorld Orlando’s fan favorite daytime Halloween event, Halloween Spooktacular, is returning for the 2020 season. Taking place every Saturday and Sunday, the family-friendly event will begin on September 19 and run until November 1 with new modified health and safety measures.

This event, which is kid-friendly, will be modified for limited capacity, creating a socially distant experience for everyone. Parents and children alike can experience the fun of dressing up in their favorite costumes and trick-or-treating around the park.

This year, guests can decorate cookies with Cookie Monster! Meet Sesame Streets‘ favorite cookie-loving monster and help decorate his favorite snack. This new activity will include socially distant photo opportunities and new safety measures to keep cookie decorating safe as possible, including single-party tables with ample spacing and enhanced cleaning procedures.

Also making its first appearance this year is the new Halloween Maze, perfect for the young and old. Guests of all ages will be able to experience all the Halloween fun while trying to find their way out of a corn maze.

Along with new activities is the return of all the fan favorites, including the ever-popular Trick-Or-Treat Trail. Experience the fun of trick-or-treating in a safe environment while your costumed youngsters hunt for their favorite ghoulish treats all around the park, including Tootsie Rolls, Smarties, and Airheads. The trail will support social distancing by sending guests in one direction and limiting the overall capacity.

You never want to indulge in the fun on an empty stomach, so why not start the day off right by visiting Count von Count’s Spooktacular Breakfast. Meet Count Von Count, Elmo, and all their very special Sesame Street friends. Experience a delicious meal with exciting character appearances. You can count on safety while enjoying your breakfast with new food service barriers, single party tables, and extended sanitation measures between each meal.

SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular will be included in park admission. But don’t forget — for a limited time only, you can buy a 2021 Fun Card and get the rest of 2020 for free or even upgrade to an Annual Pass starting as low as $11.50 per month with no down payment. Annual Pass members will receive 12 months of visits along with free parking, up to 6 free guest tickets, Pass Member VIP Ride Nights, and save up to 50% on merchandise, photo prints, Quick Queue, plus so much more!
