Geraldine Viswanathan Gets Inspired to Create ‘The Broken Hearts Gallery’ in Final Trailer

As one of the many movies whose original release date had been pushed due to the ongoing COVID pandemic, The Broken Hearts Gallery from Sony Pictures finally has a release date. It will premiere in theaters this Friday, September 11, just less than two months after its original planned date of Friday, July 17. In anticipation of the film’s release, the final trailer has dropped, including Selena Gomez’s song, “Souvenir.”

Written and directed by Natalie Krinsky in her directorial debut and executive produced by Gomez, The Broken Hearts Gallery follows Blockers breakout Geraldine Viswanathan, “a 20-something art gallery assistant living in New York City, who also happens to be an emotional hoarder. After she gets dumped by her latest boyfriend, Lucy is inspired to create The Broken Heart Gallery, a pop-up space for items love has left behind” when she meets Nick, played by Power Rangers and Stranger Things star Dacre Montgomery.

Molly Gordon, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Suki Waterhouse, Phillipa Soo, Arturo Castro, Taylor Hill, Ego Nwodim, and Bernadette Peters also star in the film.

The Broken Hearts Gallery releases in theaters this Friday, September 11, and tickets are available now.
