Now Available: Season 2 of ‘The Boys’ Drops Early on Amazon Prime!
We hope that you lot didn’t have anything particularly diabolical scheduled for this evening. As of this moment, your plans are now cancelled.
Why, you ask? Because season 2 of The Boys has officially landed early on Amazon Prime Video!
The first three episodes of season 2 were originally scheduled to premiere on the streaming service Friday, September 4. However, after The Boys team stormed social media all evening to build up the hype, “The Big Ride,” “Proper Preparation and Planning,” and “Over the Hill with the Swords of a Thousand Men” are now available to stream! Check out our spoiler-free review of the first three episodes here.
Officially Certified Fresh as per Rotten Tomatoes, season 2 will find the Boys on the run from Vought, the Supes, and the law. Billy Butcher is still reeling from the knowledge that he gained during the explosive season 1 finale — his wife isn’t quite as dead as he thought, and she has a son. Meanwhile, a new Supe, Stormfront, joins the ranks of The Seven … much to Homelander’s dismay. Oh, and there’s also that teeny tiny little problem called Supervillains.
The remaining five episodes of season 2 of The Boys will drop weekly on Amazon Prime on Fridays. Stay tuned for our recaps of each episode! And don’t miss out on the new weekly after-show — Prime Rewind: Inside The Boys — hosted by Aisha Tyler.
