Over the last few years, The CW has built its reputation around superhero shows such as Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl, all belonging to what was dubbed the Arrowverse. With Arrow‘s eight-season run ending earlier this year, The CW has released a new video rebranding the Arrowverse into The CWverse. If you haven’t seen it yet, watch it below!
The video pays homage to the network’s humble DC beginnings with montages from Arrow, the show that started everything, before flashing between scenes from DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Stargirl, Batwoman, Black Lightning, The Flash, Supergirl, and the crossover specials. Interspersed between these scenes are comic book clippings that the shows are based upon. The clip then cuts to a screen titled “2021,” quickly switching to a short video previewing The CWverse’s newest addition, Supeman & Lois.
The CWverse keeps coming up with more stories to tell. Superman & Lois will arrive on television in 2021. What’s your favorite CWverse show? Let us know in the comments.
