As part of the countdown to the Emmy Awards, Deadline is hosting their annual Contenders: Television event! The day of panels brings together the nominees in various categories to discuss their nominated work. This year’s lineup is packed, with Normal People‘s Paul Mescal and Lenny Abrahamson set to appear alongside the casts and crews of Schitt’s Creek, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, The Mandalorian, What We Do In the Shadows, and many more. Mescal was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series or Movie while Abrahamson was nominated for Outstanding Directing For a Limited Series.
