‘Ghostwriter’ & ‘Peanuts in Space: Secrets of Apollo 10’ Win at the 47th Daytime Emmy Awards

The 47th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards took place on July 26, and there were some big winners everywhere! Apple TV+ became the first streaming service to win a Daytime Emmy within its first year of being eligible.
Its original series Ghostwriter earned its first Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Children’s or Family Programming, and Peanuts in Space: Secrets of Apollo 10 took home the Award for Outstanding Single Camera Editing.

The Ghostwriter series is directed and written by Luke Matheny. It is a revamp of the 1992 hit that helps gain vocabulary skills, expands children’s grasp of creative writing, and gains reading comprehension. Not only has Ghostwriter received a DaytimeEmmy, but the show has also gained quite a collection of awards, including the Parents’ Choice Gold Medal Award and acknowledgment from Common Sense Media. The show is perfect for kids everywhere to see themselves being represented with a diverse cast.
Join the Peanuts gang when it is time to celebrate the 50th anniversary of landing on the moon. In Peanuts in Space: Secrets of Apollo 10, Jeff Goldblum portrays the role of a NASA historian, trying to figure out if the lovable Snoopy was a secret astronaut.
Apple TV+ has excellent original series for families with children, including Peanuts, Sesame Workshop, Ghostwriter, and Fraggle Rock, influenced by the drawings and tales of Maurice Sendak.
