Watch: ‘Phineas and Ferb: Candace Across The Universe’ Virtual Panel From Comic-Con@Home

There are more than 104 days of summer vacation this year! The cast and crew of Phineas and Ferb virtually reunited for a Comic-Con@Home panel about the upcoming Disney+ original movie Phineas and Ferb: Candace Across the Universe.
The panel was comprised of cast members Ashley Tisdale (“Candace”), Vincent Martella (“Phineas”), Maulik Pancholy (“Baljeet”), and Dee Bradley Baker (“Perry”), co-creators Dan Povenmire (“Dr. Doofenshmirtz”) and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh (“Major Monogram”), and director Bob Bowen (Milo Murphy’s Law).
For fifty minutes, the cast and crew of the beloved cartoon discussed the impact of the original series, how it came to be, and what it meant to the everyone who worked on the show. There were also some fun facts thrown in, such as Vincent’s revelation that for the first season of the show, Vincent recorded his lines from the recording studio at Walt Disney World in Florida.
The rest of the panel focused more on the new movie. According to creators Povenmire and Marsh, Candace and her brothers’ relationship will be seen in a new light. They state that Candace is not much of an “antagonist” in this movie and that Phineas and Ferb will realize how much their sister means to them.
Towards the very end, a new clip of the song “Beautiful Day” was shown, and tweeted out by Martella after the panel premiered on Youtube.
